It is well documented that 80% of professional athletes go broke less than 3 years after retiring from sports. Our research indicates that many of the failures involve poor decision making by the athlete as well as mistakes made by the people closest to the athlete – family, friends and advisors.
Why does this problem continue to persist year after year when the advisor and financial education resources have never been more abundant?
We at 360 Sports, Inc. are dedicated to reversing this trend. In this event we will hear first-hand from retired professional athletes and how they made their success off the field. Athletes from the Vikings, Twins and Wild are invited to attend the event as both speakers and participants.
Not only athlete attendees hear from retired professional athletes on how they learned to succeed, but you will also learn about how to apply what you learn to creating your own personal success as well.
This event is focused on helping athletes; however, we highly recommend that professionals in the fields of finance, real estate and insurance attend the event as well. We feel it’s important for industry professionals to learn about the challenges athletes face from the athletes themselves. In addition, this is a great opportunity to network and build relationships with potential future professional athletes.
The catered event will be held in the Polaris Club at the US Bank Stadium, the stadium’s largest club, providing an open floor plan with views of the field and the Mill District. Located on the lower club level between the 30-yard lines, the club totals 20,000 sq. ft. and can comfortably accommodate all of our guests in a reception-style setting. It will be held during the All-American Bowl, an event where Division II and III college football players showcase their skills for coaches and scouts of professional teams.
Space is limited so please sign up on our Eventbrite, Facebook or 360SportsEvents.com as soon as possible.
